Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking an office-based, full-time customer support specialist reporting to the Tacoma Sales Manager. The role centers on taking orders in the selling tool and SAP, and serving as the single point of contact for assigned customers and sellers.

Collaboration with a sales team and daily interactions with customers are key aspects of the position. You will have opportunities for growth in system improvements, understanding customer product needs, and assessing manufacturing impacts

Qualifications

• Demonstrated effective communication skills including written and verbal.
• Proven ability to work in Office, Excel, Word, and learn enterprise systems (SAP).
• Demonstrated interest and willingness to gain basic knowledge of products, pricing and customers.
• Demonstrated effective time management skills to remain focused on priorities and organized while working with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships internally and externally and collaborate within a team environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Enters orders or assists individual sellers in order file management by ensuring orders are received, priced accurately, shipped and invoiced in an accurate and timely manner using sales tools/SAP effectively.
• Acts as point of contact for customers, takes ownership of interactions, addresses order status and product information inquiries from customers via phone and email.
• Troubleshoots basic customer issues, escalates situations as needed, and learns from order errors or mistakes.
• Accurately submits information for new customer requests through the SAP transaction (MDG).
• Develops knowledge of customers, company procedures, products, and services to gain competency in these areas.
• Works closely with a specific customer base to build rapport and understand their business.
• Collaborates to build strong relationships with peers, coworkers, internal/external customers, and broader team members and resources.
