Job summary

Davis Furniture, a family-owned high-end manufacturer, seeks a Customer Service & Sales Support Representative to assist dealer partners through the sales and order process on-site in High Point, NC. The role emphasizes proactive, organized, and customer-focused service with clear communication and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will provide pre-sale support, prepare quotations, review orders for accuracy, and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Credit, Manufacturing, and Shipping to ensure

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Customer Service, Sales Support, Order Management, Project Coordination, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, orders, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with ERP, CRM, or order-processing systems preferred.
• Contract furniture, commercial furniture, or made-to-order manufacturing experience is a plus.
• College degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for dealers, responding to customer inquiries by email and phone in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide pre-sale support related to products, pricing, specifications, lead times, and order requirements.
• Prepare product quotations and supporting documentation.
• Review purchase orders, specifications, drawings, finishes, and project information for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide order acknowledgements, status updates, and other important project information.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Credit, Manufacturing, and Shipping to support accurate and timely order processing.
• Proactively identify and resolve customer concerns, maintaining ownership through resolution.
• Build positive relationships with dealer partners and internal teams through responsive, accurate, and professional communication.
• All other duties as assigned.
