Job summary

McWane Ductile New Jersey is seeking a Receptionist/Customer Service Rep to join our team. This full-time non-exempt role supports the sales and shipping operations by greeting visitors, processing orders, and coordinating deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient with Microsoft D365 and Microsoft Office, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced shipping or logistics environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Microsoft D365.
• Experience with CRM systems, particularly Sales LOGIX, is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls to appropriate departments or individuals.
• Monitor visitor sign-in and issue visitor badges.
• Demonstrate professional phone etiquette and manage written communications.
• Support sales department with clerical tasks including filing, scanning, and document preparation.
• Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries, ensuring high levels of service.
• Accurately enter and review sales orders in Microsoft D365.
• Coordinate shipping, including scheduling of loading and deliveries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and confirm product availability to meet customer demand.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and security protocols.
• Collect and distribute company mail as required.
