Job summary

You will engage with customers, assist with locating items, stock shelves, and process orders while varying by department. The role includes flexible scheduling and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying data).
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods as required by the role.
• Able to lift or move up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure on-time receipt.
• Receive cross-training in other store areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in department as needed (paint tinting, pipes, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
