Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate in New Jersey to welcome customers and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, and ensure all customer needs are met.

You will spend time listening to customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise, with daily duties varying by department.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones and tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by replenishing supplies and organizing shelves.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to improve service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipe, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
