Job summary

Laundry Capital is hiring a Customer Service Associate to support customers in a busy laundromat environment. You’ll assist with laundry card usage, machine selection, and purchases while maintaining a clean, safe store.

Key duties include operating a cash register, promoting add-on items, stocking shelves, and collaborating with a team to deliver friendly service. Prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Professional communication with customers and staff.
• Works well in a team and stays calm in busy periods.
• Familiar with using a cash register and POS system.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with use of laundry cards and machine selection.
• Operate the cash register / POS for purchases and services.
• Provide product knowledge and upsell items to customers.
• Keep shelves stocked and store clean; report inventory needs.
• Follow safety and attendance policies; communicate issues to management.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
