Job summary

National Car Rental at Boise Airport is hiring a Return Agent to deliver superior, friendly, efficient service throughout the rental process. You will greet customers, assist with returns, and help ensure a quick, smooth experience.

This full-time role requires 18+ years old, legal work status in the United States, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Boise area residency or plan to relocate within 30 days is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must currently live in the Boise area or plan to within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they arrive on the lot using prescribed dialogue.
• Remind customers to check for personal belongings.
• Identify items found in vehicles and log with unit number, date and time; submit to lost and found.
• Advise on rental charges and provide accurate receipts.
• Provide information about transportation to the airport terminal in a professional manner.
• Thank customers using prescribed dialogue.
• Inquire about service quality and document dissatisfaction.
• Discreetly check vehicles for damage and direct customers to complete damage/loss reports.
• Determine if the vehicle is returned with a full tank of gas.
• Complete a service alert for mechanical or body damage reported by customers.
• Identify vehicles on system hold and verify movement to proper lot location.
• Identify and tag vehicles flagged for grounding or maintenance; verify movement to proper lot location.
• Keep the lot organized for accessibility and smooth traffic flow.
• Strive to improve performance through self-assessment and training.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

The National/Alamo brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Return Agent. The Return Agent will provide superior, friendly, efficient service during all aspects of the rental car process as it applies to this position. Assist all customers with the rental return process. Create and maintain a friendly, efficient environment for all customers. Assist in making all transactions quick and efficient.

The pay for this position starts at $17 / hour.

This position is located at Boise Airport (BOI) - 3201 W Airport Way #1000, Boise, ID 83705.

Schedule

• We have multiple full time schedules - 40 hours per week.
• Schedules include Saturday and Sunday hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers using prescribed, appropriate dialogue as they arrive on the lot
• Remind customer to check for personal belongings
• Identify any items found in the vehicle with a unit number, date, time and turn into lost and found
• Advise and review rental charges; and provide an accurate receipt to the customer
• Provide information in a professional and courteous manner regarding transportation to the airport terminal
• Thank customers using the prescribed dialogue
• Inquire about service, satisfaction and document dissatisfaction
• Discreetly check vehicle for damage on incoming vehicles and direct customer to counter for completion of damage/loss report
• Use of proper statement to determine if vehicle is being returned with full tank of gas
• Complete a service alert for any mechanical and or body damage communicated by the customers.
• Identify vehicles, which are on system hold for turnback, time or mileage, recall, or any other special lock and verify their movement to the proper lot location
• Identify and tag vehicles that have been flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance and verify their movement to the proper lot location
• Keep lot organized for ease of access and traffic flow
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
