Job summary

PennCrest Bank in Gallitzin is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to join our local office. The CSR will handle a variety of banking tasks, deliver friendly service, and help customers meet their financial needs with accuracy and courtesy.

Responsibilities include processing teller transactions, assisting with new accounts and loan payments, balancing the drawer, and promoting the bank’s products while maintaining compliance and confidentiality.

PennCrest Bank is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our Gallitzin office.

The CSR is responsible for performing a variety of banking functions in compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulations. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering exceptional customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Processing teller transactions, including accepting deposits, cashing checks, and verifying transaction accuracy, amounts, and endorsements.
• Processing loan payments and assisting customers with opening new accounts.
• Maintaining and balancing the teller drawer, including currency, coin, and checks, to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Educating customers on and promoting the Bank's products and services to meet their financial needs.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable banking regulations, policies, and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and security standards.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Additional qualification and requirements include:

• Successful completion of an introductory training program and comprehension test
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficient in of word processing and spreadsheet software.
