Job summary

NORCO INC is seeking an Industrial Store Customer Service Representative in Pasco, WA to assist walk-in and phone customers, state product details, and process orders. You will greet customers professionally, handle calls, and maintain accurate cash handling and stock procedures.

You will be expected to demonstrate product knowledge for welding and safety products, assist with special applications, and ensure orders are correctly processed and followed up as needed.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of all industrial products and gases.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
• Answer telephone calls promptly
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use
• Sell welding and safety products and services to customer
• Process customer orders and accurately input customer order into the computer
• Research products needed for customer special applications
• Follow up on customer orders not processed correctly and remedy situation
• Keep sales literature current and organized
• Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
• Keep accurate cash till and run daily cash reports
• Answer customer calls and transfer customers if they need service from someone else
• Stock shelves when needed
• Load products into customer vehicle
• Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules
• Perform other tasks as assigned or needed

Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill ourIndustrial Store Customer Service Representative position. TheIndustrial Store Customer Service Representative isresponsible for serving walk-in customers and phone-in customers. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
• Answer telephone calls promptly
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use
• Sell welding and safety products and services to customer
• Process customer orders and accurately input customer order into the computer
• Research products needed for customer special applications
• Follow up on customer orders not processed correctly and remedy situation

• Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
• Keep accurate cash till and run daily cash reports
• Answer customer calls and transfer customers if they need service from someone else
• Stock shelves when needed
• Communicate with Purchasing Department regarding any special order needs
• Load products into customer vehicle
• Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules
• Perform other tasks as assigned or needed
• CDL preferred or willingness to obtain
• Wage: $22 - $26/hr DOE
