Job summary

IDN-Acme in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a full-time, on-site role. You will greet customers, take orders, provide information on price and availability, and support walk-in traffic at the counter.

Based in a busy distributorship, you will report to the Branch Manager and collaborate with outside sales, warehouse staff, and vendors to ensure orders are processed accurately, credits handled, and promotions presented.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years Customer Service/Sales experience (distribution industry preferred).
• Strong computer skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers by phone and in person (walk-in traffic/counter sales).
• Using the computer system to provide information on price and availability.
• Order processing and related customer assistance.
• Light Warehouse work (picking, packing, shipping & receiving).
• Special order processing.
• Presenting Monthly promotions.
• Processing Customer Credits.
• Manufacturer/vendor contact for factory orders.
• Outbound customer calls to assist in growing the local business.

Job Description

Based in Oklahoma City, OK, the individual in this position is responsible for providing superior service to customers throughout the Oklahome City area.

Key Working Relationships

The successful candidate will report to the Branch Manager at IDN-Oklahome City. The individual will work closely with other staff members and with the local Outside Sales representative.
