Job summary

Glass Doctor of Sioux Falls is seeking a fast-paced, highly organized Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher to connect customers, technicians, and sales. In this full-time role you will manage high call volume, schedule jobs, provide quotes, and help convert inquiries into revenue.

You’ll coordinate timelines, track work orders, and ensure accuracy from start to finish while delivering a friendly, solution-focused experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service on the phone or related experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proven ability to sell and close business over the phone and upsell.
• Highly organized with strong multitasking ability.
• Accustomed to a fast-paced, team environment.
• Problem solver with high attention to detail.
• Typing skills (type while talking) and comfort with scheduling systems.

As we grow, we’re looking to bring on a highly organized, customer-focused Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher (full-time) who thrives in a very fast-paced environment to play a key role in driving revenue and be a part of our daily operations. This is a critical position that connects customers, technicians, and sales—ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently, customers are taken care of, and opportunities are converted into revenue. Position involves high call volume, closing/booking jobs, scheduling technicians so the pace is high speed and accuracy is KEY!

As a Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher, you will be helping our residential and business customers often in times when they need it most. When something cracks or shatters, you’ll put the customer at ease, making sure their home or business is safe and looking good! We invest in our people and will make sure you have the training, tools, and process to be successful.

What You’ll Do:

Dispatching & Operations

• Schedule and dispatch technicians for residential, commercial, and auto glass jobs


• Optimize daily routes for efficiency and productivity


• Coordinate job timelines, materials, and customer expectations


• Manage work orders and ensure accuracy from start to finish

Sales & Customer Service

• Answer inbound calls and convert inquiries into booked jobs


• Provide quotes, follow up on leads/opportunities, and close sales


• Upsell additional services and identify revenue opportunities


• Deliver a professional, friendly, and solution-focused customer experience

Administrative & Support

• Order glass, parts, and materials from vendors (learn varieties of glass)


• Track inventory and ensure job readiness


• Process billing, payments, and job documentation


• Maintain organized records and communication with customers

What We’re Looking For

• 1-3 years of customer service on the phone, sales, dispatch or related experience


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Proven ability to sell and close business over the phone & upsell skills


• Highly organized with strong multitasking ability


• Accustomed to working in a highly fast-paced, team environment


• Problem solver with high attention to detail


• Tech-savvy (scheduling systems, CRM \"Service Titan\", office software)


• Computer savvy with intermediate to advanced typing skills (type while talking required)

This Job Is NOT For You If . . .

You are okay with measurements being “close enough”. That won’t work here. Measurements need to be super accurate to a fraction of an inch so that the glass will fit the first time.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Excellent compensation $19-$22/hour (DOE) plus annual bonus based on performance.
