Walker Concrete in Stockbridge, Georgia is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher (CSR/Dispatcher) to run the central dispatch office and support the company’s ordering and customer service processes.

You will handle inbound calls, coordinate orders, and work with the sales team to ensure order accuracy and timely deliveries, while meeting minimum qualifications and contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Technical knowledge of ready-mix concrete (training will be provided).

The company is a longstanding and large concrete supplier in the Metro Atlanta area, operating multiple batch plants with locations in Tyrone, Griffin, Jackson, Locust Grove, Palmetto, Conley, LaGrange, Barnesville and Newnan.

Responsibilities and Duties

The role primarily involves extensive phone and computer use to interact with customers. Key duties include:

• Answering inbound calls for new orders and updates
• Contacting customers proactively to gather information or resolve issues
• Processing prepaid orders
• Collaborating with the internal sales team to adjust projects as needed
• Managing opening and closing office responsibilities

Required Skills

Candidates must have:
