Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials is seeking a Dispatcher in Atlanta, GA. The person will compile orders, schedule deliveries and drivers, and provide customer service to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include dispatching drivers, maintaining communication, inputting orders, and coordinating timekeeping. Candidates should have at least 3 years of customer service and dispatch experience, with bilingual Spanish/English being a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years customer service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Prior dispatch experience, tracking and scheduling is preferred.
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) will be highly looked upon.
• Computer skills including typing and internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and control the Drivers needed throughout the day and make adjustments to meet daily volume.
• Maintain professional voice on phone/radio and de-escalate tense situations.
• Remain calm and decisive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Solve problems promptly while fostering customer/driver relationships.
• Assist drivers in locating job sites and understanding delivery areas.
• Determine travel time to jobs and best plant locations to service the job.
• Input orders accurately to customer specifications for delivery.
• Review and verify delivery and product information on orders prior to delivery.
• Handle high call volumes while multitasking with plants, drivers, and office staff.
• Coordinate Driver timekeeping and manage time-off requests and sick/personal days.
• Review Driver timecards, delivery time reports and time entry regularly.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Dispatch and control the Drivers needed throughout the day and make any necessary adjustments to maintain daily volume requirements.
• Have a professional and respectful voice over the phone/radio, with the ability to deescalate tense situations.
• Able to remain calm and decisive in a potentially high stress/fast-paced work environment.
• Solve problems in a timely manner while fostering lasting business relationships with our customers/drivers.
• Must be familiar with our delivery areas and must be able to assist drivers in finding job sites.
• Must be able to determine travel time to jobs and best plant locations to service the job.
• Accurately and promptly input orders to customer specifications for delivery.
• Review and verify accurate delivery and product information on orders prior to delivery.
• Must be able to perform in high call volume situations while multitasking with plants, drivers, team members in the office.
• Coordinate Driver timekeeping functions, including receiving and documenting time off requests. As well as, maintaining Driver time off schedule in respect to sick time and personal days
• Daily review of Driver timecards, delivery time reports and time entry/ tracking.

About You

We Require:
