Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a customer-focused associate to assist customers with U-Haul products and services at the Whitehall center. You will manage rentals using U-Scan, move and hook up trucks and trailers, and inspect equipment.

The role involves preparing invoices, educating customers, performing safety checks, and completing propane filling. Training and certification opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to move equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work around moving parts, fumes, and irritants.
• Protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
