Perdue Foods in Westminster, CO is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the trusted link between customers and sales teams, handling order entry, invoicing, and order confirmations.

The role supports Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with a target wage of $23.00–$34.25 per hour and an annual bonus. Benefits include medical/Rx, 401(k) with company match, disability, dental, vision, life insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Enter orders accurately with item codes, quantities, prices and ship-to details.
• Invoice orders using bill of ladings and verify pricing and docs.
• Provide order confirmations by COB the day after receipt; notify of updates.
• Communicate notices and changes to customers in a timely, professional manner.
• Distribute notices to customers reflecting impacts on accounts.
• Monitor order patterns and assist customers with ordering.
• Collaborate with Operations, Logistics and Accounting to resolve issues.
• Participate in weekly meetings and cross-functional calls.
• Assist Sales Directors with Promotion Requests and admin tasks.
• Maintain customer files and SOPs; ensure accurate records in systems.
• Call accounts to sell long and close-dated products.

Summary

Be the trusted connection between our customers and sales teams as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will ensure orders are managed with accuracy, speed, and care while delivering clear, timely communication that keeps customers informed and confident. By partnering closely with Sales Directors and providing essential administrative support, you will help drive seamless service, strong relationships, and a positive customer experience from order to delivery.

This position has a target wage of $23.00 - $34.25 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

• Enter orders, ensuring accuracy of item codes, case quantities, prices, ship-to location and ship dates before order deadlines.
• Properly invoice customer orders utilizing bill of ladings, ensuring pricing accuracy and supporting documentation are correct.
• Verify accuracy of order with customer by providing order confirmation no later than COB the day after the order is received. Notify customers in writing of any inaccuracies and updates needed on their purchase orders.
• Communicate company notices, order deadline changes and deviations from order quantities, prices, or delivery dates to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Distribute written company notices as needed to customers reflecting any impacts to their account and relationship with Coleman Natural.
• Monitor order patterns and assist customers with their ordering process.
• Work with internal teams, including Operations, Logistics and Accounting, to resolve order-related issues and manage orders from entry through delivery and invoicing; elevate concerns when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in weekly meetings and cross-functional team calls, ensuring availability to provide expertise and support for managed customers.
• Assists Sales Directors with completion of Promotion Requests, administrative forms and tasks, as needed.
• Maintain assigned customer files, desk manuals, standard operating procedures and checklists; ensure accurate record keeping within company systems.
• Call accounts when needed to sell long and close-dated products.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service-related activities
• Experience working in a retail or wholesale company environment strongly preferred
• Must be able to prioritize completing all tasks within the allotted timeframe
• Must exhibit politeness, confidence, tact, patience, and diplomacy while dealing with complex problems
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

• Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
• May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
• May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
• Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
