Perdue Farms is seeking a WPL Production Associate in Milford, DE to help run production lines and support box room operations, palletizing, and totes handling to ensure quality and timely delivery.

This role offers a base rate of $17.75 per hour, with pay premiums, shift differentials and overtime where applicable. An annual bonus is available based on performance, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical/Rx, 401(k) with employer match, and more.

Summary

Step into a hands-on role where your work directly impacts the products customers rely on every day. As a WPL Production Associate, you will play a key part in keeping our production and distribution operations running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. From setting up production lines to palletizing, supporting box room operations, and handling totes, you will help ensure products are prepared, packaged, and delivered with quality and care. You will be part of a team that values safety, consistency, and teamwork, with clear processes and high standards guiding everything we do. This position has a base rate of $17.75 per hour, with opportunities for pay premiums, shift differentials and overtime where applicable. Annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Schedule

Monday through Friday with weekend work (Saturday and/or Sunday as required based on department schedules and production needs.

Shift assignments vary by department and may include:

1st shift: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Weekend as needed.

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a distribution warehouse.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

When in a plant environment:

• Ability to tolerate exposure to wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
• Ability to stand for an extended period and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs by reaching, bending, and pushing boxes.
• The ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required.
• May work in an environment with varying temperatures between 28 degrees and 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
• May handle products varying in temperatures between 25 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
• May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
• May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
• Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.
