Perdue Farms is seeking an Employment Process Administrator for 1st shift in Bridgewater, VA. The role focuses on accurate associate data, onboarding support, and HR process efficiency within a team that values integrity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years relevant work experience in office management, employee data, or other HR position.
• Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred.
• Strong systems aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate department reports & associate data in Perdue’s HRIS and files.
• Conduct new hire orientation in person and remotely to meet requirements and laws.
• Serve as first point of contact for benefits, PTO, and HR questions.
• Track attendance, verify data, and file in personnel records.
• Coordinate with Staffing Recruiter to ensure new hire paperwork is complete.
• Enter termination details into HR database and ensure data processes are followed.
• Ensure new hire paperwork requirements are consistently met.
• Audit data and reports to management; improve processes and efficiency.
• Assist with special projects or implementation of improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

Play a key role in creating a seamless and positive associate experience as an Employment Processing Administrator. In this role, you will ensure associate information and data are accurate, timely, and aligned with company standards while supporting logistics, fleet, and garage operations. You will serve as an essential HR partner for both new and existing facilities by helping facilitate orientation, assisting with benefits, and managing associate data updates. Through your attention to detail and commitment to service, you will help support smooth onboarding processes and contribute to a strong, well-supported workforce.

This position has a target wage of $23.00 - $34.25 per hour, basedshift,experienceand qualifications with annual bonusavailable(variable dependingon performance).Overtime may be available.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

• Responsible for maintaining accurate department reports & Associate data in Perdue’s operating system and electronic files.
• Conducts new hire orientation in-person and remotely to ensure it meets company requirements and applicable state/ federal laws.
• Be the first point of contact for associates with regards to questions regarding benefits, PTO, or other questions.
• Tracks associate attendance, extracting data from the company's timekeeping system, verifying accuracy with management, entering verified data into HR database, preparing attendance counseling sheets, obtaining associates' supervisor and appropriate HR representatives' signatures and filing in the associates' personnel file.
• Coordinates with the Staffing Recruiter/Interviewer to ensure that all new hire paperwork is complete for new hire orientation.
• Enters accurate termination details into the HR database.
• Ensures all data processes in the Company Hiring Manual are implemented and followed.
• Ensure all new hire paperwork requirements are consistently met.
• Follows established retention policies and perform audits to ensure data integrity reporting audit results to management.
• Ensures all personnel activity of an associate is entered into the HR database.
• Utilizes all HR reporting tools. i.e., manpower, headcount and other required reports, to perform audits and generate reports.
• Makes recommendations to improve processes and efficiencies.
• Assist with special projects or implementation of improvements or new processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience

• 3-5 years relevant work experience in office management, employee data, or other HR position.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Requires knowledge of and a commitment to team performance and strong team player.
• Must be able to multi-task and organize multiple projects and completed on schedule.
• Strong systems aptitude and must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

• Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
• May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
• May need to access files, supplies and equipment.

When in a plant environment:

• Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
• May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
• May handle products from 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
• May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
• May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, and processing facility.
• Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
• May need to climb ladders.
