Best Block in Pueblo, Colorado seeks a Customer Service Representative to join our on-site team. You will be the first contact for walk-in and phone customers, helping with product information and order entry.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, basic Excel/Word/Outlook, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. You should be able to lift 25 lbs, stand/walk long periods, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Available to work 40 or more hours per week.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Good problem solving and attention to detail.
• Customer relation skills and ability to walk through material yards.
• Lifting 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs at times; ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customers (walk-in and call-in).
• Provide technical assistance for installing and maintaining products.
• Accurate and detailed order entry; input customer information, pricing and data.
• Build and maintain relationships with repeat customers and accounts.
• Coordinate with dispatch to schedule deliveries and manage expectations.
• Communicate order status, lead times and changes clearly to customers.
• Perform monthly inventory counts and maintain inventory records.
• Balance cash drawer and create cash & credit card reports daily.
• Work with outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of products and major competitor lines; assist with dispatch and fleet compliance.

About the Role:

As aCustomer Service Representative with Best Blockyou are responsible for:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customers (walk-in and call-in)
• Provide technical assistance for installing and maintaining the products we sell
• Accurate and detailed order entry, input customer information, pricing and additional data
• Build and maintain relationships with repeat customer and accounts
• Coordinate closely with dispatch to schedule deliveries and manage customer expectations
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding order status, lead times and changes
• Perform monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Balance cash drawer and create cash & credit card reports daily
• Work with outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain knowledge of products and their applications and know major competitor product lines.
• Assist with Centralized Dispatch and maintain delivery fleet compliance requirements

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Minimum education required: High School Diploma with average to above math skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Available to work 40 or more hours per week
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills and high attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and customer relation skills
• Must be able to walk throughout material yards
• Physical demands include the ability to lift 25 lbs on a consistent basis and 50 lbs or more on a random basis. Should be able to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time.
• Inside sales experience is a plus
• Experience in building materials industry is also a plus
