Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Houston, TX is seeking an Inside Sales Rep/Customer Fulfillment to act as the liaison between customers, account managers and production/planning. You will use the EFI Radius ERP system for order entry and maintain weekly VMI reports to ensure commitments are met.

Responsibilities include validating POs, entering blanket and make-and-ship orders, creating items and job orders, managing customer inventory, updating VMI reports, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to hit

Responsibilities

• Validate POs for pricing per contract and ensure information for entry.
• Enter Blanket and Make-and-Ship orders into Radius with accurate specs.
• Create new items to ensure accurate order entry in the system.
• Create job orders for Run No Change to keep production on schedule.
• Manage customer inventory (aged stock) and coordinate POs for availability.
• Update inventory and open orders weekly in VMI reports for customers.
• Enter sales releases and create shipping requests as inventory becomes available.
• Monitor monthly orders/shipments vs. forecast to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with account managers, fulfillment, scheduling, and ops leadership to meet run dates.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Job Details: Job Location: Houston, TX 77041, The Inside Sales Rep/Customer Fulfillment will work as a liaison between the customer/account managers and production/planning. This position reports into the Inside Sales Manager. The Inside Sales Rep will utilize their communication and analytical skills to manage customer orders and see them to completion. They will leverage the EFI Radius ERP system for the order entry processes as well as maintain weekly VMI reports for customers. They will work with the order fulfillment and scheduling teams to ensure customer needs and internal commitments are met. This person will be collaborative, good with people, and effective with computers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Validate PO’s for pricing according to the current contract and to ensure all necessary information is available for order entry.
• Enter Blanket and Make-and-Ship orders into Radius using the customers PO’s and relevant Specs to ensure quick and accurate information is in the system.
• Creates new items, as necessary, to allow for accurate order entry.
• Creates job orders at sales order entry for “Run No Change” orders to avoid delays and minimize time to get new orders on the production schedule.
• When applicable, manage customer inventory, including aged inventory, requesting PO’s and creating job orders as necessary to ensure item availability for the customer.
• Update inventory and open order status on weekly VMI’s for the customer, ensuring progress on orders is satisfactory, advocating for the customer, and pushing to meet our commitments.
• Enter sales releases for customer orders and create shipping requests as inventory comes available.
• Monitor customer KPI’s to track monthly orders and shipments against the forecast, and push for On-Time availability and shipments.
• Engage relevant stakeholders including account managers, order fulfillment, scheduling, and ops leadership to ensure successful production of items by the have-ready date.
• Additional duties as required.
