Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to manage orders and coordinate with internal teams within a manufacturing environment. You will handle orders by phone, email, ERP entry, and billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Ideal candidates have strong data entry, Excel, and communication skills, with experience in ERP systems and a customer-focused, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
• Experience working in an ERP system.
• Solid Excel skills, including formulas.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders by phone, email, online, mail, and fax.
• Accurately enter orders into the ERP system, schedule orders, and coordinate releases to Shipping.
• Answer customer questions regarding accounts, pricing, sizing, order status, and changes.
• Set up new customer accounts and assist with credit references and account follow-up.
• Handle invoicing, credits, credit adjustments, rebilling, and Return Authorizations.
• Work closely with Materials, Production, Inventory Control, Tech Support, and Shipping to resolve customer needs.
• Communicate order changes and updates to customers in a timely manner.
• Assist with month-end reporting and other administrative tasks.
• Provide backup coverage for the switchboard and front desk as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment a plus

• Solid Excel skills, including the ability to create spreadsheets using formulas
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under deadlines, and follow through on customer requests
• A customer-focused, team-oriented approach
