Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing seeks a Customer Service Representative in Honolulu to be the first point of contact for customers with insurance inquiries, policy information, and claims assistance. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm with a 1-hour lunch, at $20/hour. In-state applicants only.

You will handle billing, policy questions, and claims, collaborating with agents and other teams to provide timely, professional support.

Qualifications

• 1 year call center experience and/or technical rating experience training in personal multi-lines preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to align with the company's 'always here to help' ethos.
• Strong technical proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Handle calls from agents, policyholders, and others regarding billing, policy, and claims.
• Provide service directly or escalate to appropriate resource.
• Process personal lines policy transactions including new business, endorsements, cancellations, renewals, and reinstatement.

Job Duties

• Services calls from agents, policy holders and others relating to billing, policy and claims questions in a timely and professional manner.
• Provides service directly or refers calls to the appropriate resource.
• Processes all personal lines policy transactions including new business, endorsements, cancellations, renewals, reinstatement, correspondence & fax request according to the designated authority levels.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• 1 year call center experience and/or technical rating experience training in personal multi-lines preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, training or related work experience will be considered.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with others, and able to share in the Company’s commitment to being “always here to help”.
• Strong technical proficiency required.
