Job summary

Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company is seeking a detail- and people-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Chicagoland team. You will assist policyholders, agents, and providers with benefits, policy status, and billing while using multiple internal systems.

We offer on-site work in Glenview with three flexible remote days per month and half-day Fridays, plus a robust benefits package. Join GTL to help maintain customer relationships and ensure accurate, timely information flow

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, call center preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of college preferred.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail plus ability to navigate within multiple systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Word Bilingual – Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from policyholders, agents and providers to provide information on claims, policy status, benefits, and billing.
• Identify at-risk policies and engage policyholders to resolve concerns and support retention initiatives.
• Utilize internal systems to retrieve information and document interactions; ensure accuracy and responsiveness.

Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company is currently seeking a detail and people-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative!

This position is required to work on-site in our Chicagoland (Glenview, IL) office most days. Everyone receives 3 flexible remote days per month. And, we offer half-day Fridays - every Friday!

The Customer Service Representative handles incoming calls from policyholders, insurance agents and providers. They provide information regarding claim benefits, policy status, policy benefits, billing and premium information in the most efficient way possible. This person provides this information by the use of various internal systems. The Customer Service Representative is also responsible for identifying and managing at-risk policies by proactively engaging policyholders, resolving concerns, and supporting policy retention initiatives. Our goal is to make every caller feel they have made the right choice in selecting GTL to service all of their insurance needs.

The pay range for this role is $26.50 - $27.50. The pay range provided is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects potential pay for the job grade for this role at the time of this posting. Compensation will depend on several factors such as specific competencies, relevant education and experience, qualifications, and industry certifications. Compensation ranges are subject to change and may be higher or lower than the range described above.
