Job summary

New Generation Wellness, a fifth-generation family-owned dietary supplement manufacturer, is seeking a part-time, temporary Customer Service Representative to process orders and support the brands we make for.

You will enter orders by fax, EDI, email, and phone into our ERP, answer status inquiries, resolve shipping and billing issues, and call key accounts to promote products. On-site in Colorado Springs, Mondays and Tuesdays 7:30am-4:00pm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service, call center, sales desk or order entry, including outbound calls.
• Fast, accurate data entry including 10-key.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Comfort calculating discounts, percentages, and pricing.

Responsibilities

New Generation Wellness is a fifth-generation, family-owned dietary supplement manufacturer celebrating 100 years in business. We're GMP-registered with NSF and UL and certified Kosher and Halal. We’re hiring a part-time, temporary Customer Service Representative to process orders and take care of the brands we make products for.

Schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays 7:30am-4:00pm

On-Site at our Colorado Springs location

What You’ll Do:

• Enter customer orders received by fax, EDI, email, and phone accurately in our ERP system
• Answer customer questions on order status, inventory, and deliveries
• Investigate and resolve order, shipping, and billing issues, including credits and exchanges
• Make outbound calls to key accounts and promote new or improved products
• Review open-order and back-order reports and keep customers and internal teams informed

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of applicable customer service, call center, sales desk, inside sales, or order entry experience, including outbound calls
• Fast, accurate data entry, including 10-key
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Comfort calculating discounts, percentages, and pricing
• A calm, courteous approach with upset customers
• ERP or EDI experience preferred; B2B manufacturing or distribution experience preferred

Education / Certifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, Associates or bachelors degree Preferred
• Three (3) plus years experience in customer service, call center, sales desk and order taking experience.
• Must be able to learn product features and respond to questions.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to compose correspondence, effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Intermediate to advanced level with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Strong Customer Service Skills, ability to project a positive demeanor and overcome negativity during phone conversations.
