Job summary

R+L Carriers in Colonial Heights, VA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to maintain positive relationships with customers, assist in tracking and monitoring freight movement, and support terminal teams in freight-related issues.

This full-time, first-shift role offers Monday–Friday hours, pay of $20.42 per hour, and a benefits package including vacation after 90 days and access to company employee resorts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with customers and assist them in tracking and monitoring freight movement
• Engage with customers and other R&L employees to resolve issues and meet company goals
• Perform daily freight tracing with customers
• Assist other terminals with freight-related issues as needed
• Utilize customer retention techniques to ensure customers feel valued and heard
• Perform other related duties as assigned

R+L Carriers is seeking a Customer Service Representative to work at our Colonial Heights, VA Service Center. The CSR is responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with customers and to assist customers and other R&L employees in tracking and monitoring freight movement. Our CSR’s use customer retention techniques to ensure customers feel valued and listened to, to resolve their issues, and promote company goals and objectives. This includes daily freight tracing with customers, assisting other terminals in freight related issues, and performing other related duties as assigned.
