Job summary

R+L Carriers in Pearl, MS is hiring CDL-A Linehaul Drivers. You will haul van or double trailers between service centers and return home daily, with full-time Mon-Fri shifts.

You’ll be eligible for vacation after 90 days and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, plus employee resorts. Requirements include CDL Class A, 1 year of verifiable Class A driving in the past 3 years, clean MVR/PSP, and ability to pass DOT

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required and valid.
• 1 year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Clean driving record / MVR and PSP with minimal violations.

Responsibilities

• Pull van trailers up to 53’ or doubles between service centers.
• Return home daily after routes.
• Operate equipment safely at all times.

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our Pearl, MS Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations, and returning home daily.

Company Culture

Requirements:

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred:

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
