Job summary

Northeastern Appliance Service in Peekskill, NY is seeking a friendly, organized Customer Service Representative for a full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM role. No appliance industry experience is required—we're willing to train the right candidate and you will join New York's premier service partner for Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove appliances.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, administrative, scheduling, bookkeeping, or office experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computers and office software.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Independent problem-solver with sound judgment and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Professional demeanor and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Willing to train a motivated individual with the right attitude.
• Associate's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service: Answer incoming customer calls, identify and assess customer needs, resolve questions and concerns, and build lasting relationships through professional and friendly communication.
• Coordinate office operations: Schedule technician service calls to maximize efficiency, maintain customer accounts and records, submit warranty claims, and assist with bookkeeping and accounts receivable functions.
• Support the team: Follow company communication procedures, work closely with technicians and office staff, and help ensure an outstanding customer experience from the first call through completed service.
