Job summary

Envirotest in Annapolis is seeking a Customer Service Representative to explain emissions test results to motorists and assist them with waivers and extension requests. The role includes performing emissions tests when needed and ensuring a clean, welcoming station environment.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete a certification training program for emissions testing, with friendly, professional communication and strong organizational skills.

• Comfortable standing for long periods (up to 90% of the shift).

Responsibilities

• Explain emissions testing results to motorists and help customers understand what to do when their vehicle fails its emission test.
• Guide motorists through waiver process and extension requests.
• Review motorists' waiver and extension forms to ensure they meet MVA standards, then granting or denying each according to state regulations.
• Perform emission tests when needed.
• Creating a clean and professional environment to keep our station clean and welcoming.
• Other duties as assigned.
