Job summary

externallincarecareers is seeking a healthcare customer support professional in Flowood, MS to answer questions, resolve problems, and support compliance with physician directions. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, educate customers on products/services, document interactions, and enter orders in the system.

The role involves reading patient orders, understanding prescription terminology, training colleagues, and performing routine calculations related to dosages.

Qualifications

• This job requires a High School Diploma or GED, or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training.
• Computer entry is required.
• Must meet licensing requirements for the specific location.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via inbound/outbound calls and via automated dialer systems.

• Document calls in computerized record-keeping systems and enter patient orders.

This employee communicates with customers for the purposes of answering questions, resolving problems, determiningongoing and additional product/service needs, and supporting compliance to physician direction.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Communicates with customers via inbound and outbound manual calls and outbound calls generated via automated dialer system
• Assesses customer need for additional products/services
• Assesses customer compliance with physician orders
• Answers questions and provides customer education regarding products/services
• Documents calls in computerized record keeping system
• Enters customer orders in computerized system
• Verifies and updates demographic information such as address and telephone number in computerized records

Education & Experience:
