Job summary

OBE is seeking a Customer Service Representative to service customers with product and service information, resolve issues, and process orders. Reports to the Service Center Manager and emphasizes professionalism and teamwork to improve daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year customer service experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Computer experience, ability to accurately type numbers
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize deadlines
• Ability to work in fast paced, team environment to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Maintain broad knowledge of clients, products and services of organization
• Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustments; following up to ensure resolution
• Communicate with customers to determine expected delivery date and time
• Enter and track orders in our AS400 system
• Accurately process phone, fax and email orders by data entry
