Tanner Bolt & Nut, Inc. - Maspeth is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced building materials environment. You will handle inquiries, take orders, and coordinate with the sales team.

Training on product knowledge will be provided; a high school diploma is required. Bilingual ability is helpful. Prior experience in NY construction supply is preferred, with competitive weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to self-manage and interact with the public.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Strong computer skills.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional phone, face-to-face, and written customer communications.
• Greet customers and determine problems, orders, or reasons for calling.
• Identify when to route questions to sales staff.
• Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone.
• Use company computer systems for order entry.
• Complete sales orders and tender cash sales.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers.
• Maintain a clean and properly stocked showroom.
