Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate in South Carolina to greet customers, help them find products, answer questions, and provide friendly, professional service throughout the visit.

You’ll assist across departments such as Appliances, Hardware, and Home Décor, stock merchandise, process orders, and participate in training through Track to the Trades. Lowe’s offers benefits, tuition assistance, a company match 401(k), and an associate discount.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand, sit, and perform duties as required.
• Lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
