Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Ohio to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement. You will engage with customers throughout the day, answer questions, assist with merchandise selection, and ensure service at the checkout with accurate processing of orders and deliveries.

The role offers part-time schedules with a focus on delivering friendly, knowledgeable service, and opportunities to learn across store departments and specialties.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer or entering information
• 6 months experience with common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic
• Able to perform duties with prolonged standing and other physical demands
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other store areas to improve service
• Prepare department merchandise to meet customer needs (e.g., paint tinting, pipe cutting)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
