Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Alabama to welcome customers and help them find the right home improvement products. You will engage with customers throughout the day, answer questions, and assist with merchandise selection and checkout.

Role may involve stocking, basic product prep, and cross-training in other departments to ensure top-notch service. Part-time schedule with a focus on helpful, friendly customer interactions.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods and perform duties safely.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves by identifying empty areas and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to meet expectations.
• Cross-train in other areas to enhance customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (paint, piping, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
