Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products for home improvement needs. You will engage with customers throughout the day, answer questions, and support various departments to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role includes standing for long periods, assisting with loading merchandise, and maintaining shelves; opportunities exist across appliances, hardware, home décor, and more. Part-time position.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing and other job activities.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by replenishing shelves and arranging displays.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to support customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut wood, cut drywall).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
