Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate in the Kansas City area to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement projects. You will assist with locating merchandise, answering questions, and ensuring customer needs are met throughout the day.

The role involves stocking, processing orders, and occasional heavy lifting. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, or outputting information.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to perform duties with prolonged standing and other physical requirements.
• Minimum lift of 25 pounds, solo or with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves by scanning and replenishing items as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to broaden service capability.
• Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., paint tinting, pipe cutting).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
