Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Grasonville, MD to be the face of our service and assist customers with rentals, equipment inspections, and returns. You will use U-Scan technology to dispatch and manage inventory, move and hook up trucks and trailers, and ensure safety and accuracy in all transactions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and forklift operation (certifications offered on employment).
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
