Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Ankeny, IA. You will assist customers at the center, use U-Scan to manage rentals, and help move and hook up trucks and trailers while inspecting equipment on the lot.

The role includes on-the-job education, opportunities for advancement, and a $100 hiring bonus plus a $300 cash bonus after certification through the program, supporting a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot; check fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rentals.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Propane filling (certification offered on employment) and forklift operation (certification offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
