Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products and services for home improvement. You will interact with customers, assist with product choices, and ensure their needs are met throughout the day.

You will spend time listening to customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise, with daily responsibilities varying by department to support optimal store performance.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• 6 months of experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic
• Ability to stand/walk/sit as required and perform duties
• Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock replenishment and organizing shelves as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time receipt of merchandise.
• Cross-train in other areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department (e.g., paint tinting, pipe cutting, wood cutting, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
