Job summary

Alside, part of Associated Materials, seeks a Service & Support Representative in the Springfield, MA area. The role delivers a high level of customer service, manages orders, resolves issues, and provides product guidance to customers.

Additionally, the position supports outreach initiatives, including outbound pool calls to inactive or unassigned accounts, to generate revenue for the Supply Center.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2–5 years in a retail, wholesale, or customer-facing environment with demonstrated success.
• Preferred experience with a CRM, preferably Salesforce.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook.
• General knowledge of the building materials industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a consistent, high-quality customer service experience.
• Respond to customer needs accurately and timely.
• Develop knowledge of products, services, and delivery capabilities.
• Accurately enter customer orders and documentation.
• Field and resolve customer questions and issues professionally.
• Support customer engagement through outbound pool calls to accounts.
• Use consultative communication to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Operate safely and comply with company policies.
• Support Supply Center goals related to customer service and safety.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Branch Manager, including outbound calls to generate new business.
