Job summary

Trelleborg is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our North Carolina production facility. The role focuses on timely order processing, clear communication with customers and internal teams, and contributing to overall customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include order entry, tracking, scheduling, and handling inquiries and issues. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, relevant customer service experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree in Business preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify customer releases; enter orders to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
• Manage all customer service functions, including order tracking and issue resolution.
• Coordinate raw material needs, order fulfillment, and inventory of product components.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and complaints.
• Schedule production orders and communicate delivery timelines to customers.
• Handle return shipments and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate sales files and review customer contracts for compliance.
• Perform order entry, invoicing, system updates, and generate sales reports.
• Support the field sales team with product samples and marketing literature.
• Process changes to customer orders and update lead times as needed.
• Review daily shipping reports and address missed shipments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
