Job summary

Pratt Industries in Beloit, WI is seeking a Customer Service Representative to take and process customer orders, address inquiries and complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction. You’ll be organized, detail-oriented, and able to switch between tasks in a busy manufacturing environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong communication, and prior customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing or warehouse settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders either directly from customers or sales representatives.
• Place orders on timely basis for purchases of materials and supplies to be used in production.
• Process billing, new items, and purchase orders.
• Handle customer complaints and questions, and follow-up with appropriate internal/external personnel as required.
• Forward confirmations – Order Acknowledgements, ASN, and COA’s.
• Coordinate accounting credits.
• Record and distribute customer order changes.
• Assist sales personnel as needed on customer accounts, and assist in generating supplemental sales.
• Track warehouse items to ensure availability and that agreed upon minimum/maximum levels are followed. Analyze monthly usages and re-stocking per customer.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
