Job summary

Mobile Communications America is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in Urbana, IL, to serve as the first point of contact with visitors and customers via phone and email. The role involves maintaining customer records, coordinating repairs, and supporting sales and service teams.

You will log service tickets, verify warranties, and assist with contract renewals while contributing to a safe, productive office environment. On-site schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in customer operations or related fields.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors and customers and handling phone calls and emails as the first point of contact.
• Maintaining accurate customer contact information and building relationships with customers and vendors.
• Logging repair requests in the ERP system, verifying warranties, and coordinating repairs.
• Preparing pricing for billing review and ensuring timely completion of service tickets.
