Qualifications

• Minimum two years of management or supervisory experience in a corporate or chain grocery retail environment is required; three or more years is preferred.
• Experience with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, or onboarding employees is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers, candidates, employees, and department leaders.
• Ability to provide clear direction, coach employees, and hold the team accountable.
• Sound judgment and the ability to remain professional in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service and operational standards.
• Comfortable using scheduling, hiring, and other workplace technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the Front End and customer-service areas
• Create a welcoming, friendly, and efficient experience for every customer
• Set clear service expectations and coach employees to consistently meet them
• Maintain a visible leadership presence at the Front End and throughout the store
• Respond to customer questions, concerns, and service issues professionally
• Monitor checkout flow and adjust staffing based on customer traffic and business needs
• Supervise, train, schedule, coach, and develop Front End employees
• Oversee cash-handling procedures, register accountability, refunds, and other Front End controls
