Job summary

Save More Marketplace in Minocqua, WI is seeking an Evening Manager to lead store operations from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This full-time role reports to store leadership and ensures high service standards while guiding staff during the afternoon and evening hours.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of retail supervisory experience, strong decision-making and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage store conditions, safety, and daily closing procedures.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of retail supervisory or management experience required.
• Grocery, supermarket, or other high-volume retail experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees and manage store operations independently.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Manager on Duty from 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
• Provide leadership and operational support across all store departments.
• Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor and respond to customer and employee needs.
• Ensure high standards for customer service, store conditions, product availability, cleanliness, and safety.
• Direct employees and adjust staffing or priorities based on business needs.
• Complete store closing procedures and ensure the building is properly secured.
• Communicate significant issues to store leadership and assist with training and development.
