Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Customer Service Representative to perform janitorial duties and maintain clean facilities in Milpitas, CA. The role requires operating cleaning equipment and following safety policies while delivering professional service to customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3-6 months training or experience preferred, or equivalent combo.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Bilingual is a plus for communication.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and their safe use.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe, effective use.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Work as part of a team with other employees.
• Take direction from supervision and lead.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction and reporting systems.
