Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. seeks a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find the right products, and provide friendly assistance throughout the shopping experience. You may load merchandise, answer questions, and ensure customer needs are met across departments based on store demand.

The role involves interacting with customers, handling merchandise, and delivering high-quality service in a dynamic retail environment. Training and multiple department opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer to input, access, modify or output information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic proficiency.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform duties requiring physical effort.
• Minimum lifting of 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut pipe, etc.).
• Assist customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
