Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Kentucky to welcome customers, help locate products, and ensure satisfaction throughout the shopping experience. You may work in various departments and participate in cross-training to deliver excellent service and support to customers daily.

The role emphasizes assisting customers with product selection, processing orders accurately, and maintaining organized merchandise while offering a friendly, helpful attitude in a dynamic home improvement

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Able to stand for long periods, sit, and perform duties as required; able to lift 25 lbs unassisted (or more with accommodation)

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by identifying empty shelf space and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
