Job summary

Lowe's in Mount Sterling, KY is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right home improvement products and services. You will listen to customers, answer questions, and guide them through shopping or checkout.

This part-time role supports customers across departments, with responsibilities including loading merchandise, stocking shelves, and delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer experience including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by filling gaps and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/thread pipe, cut/bundle wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
