Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers, answer questions, and ensure a positive shopping experience throughout the day.

You will work across departments as needed, assisting with merchandise placement and checkout while learning multiple store areas to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smart phones/tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing or sitting.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock replenishment and organization of shelves.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to meet customer expectations.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to support customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., tint paint, cut and thread pipes) as needed.
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout and complete other duties as assigned.
