Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our exceptional service. You will assist customers, manage rentals using U-Scan tech, move and hook up trucks, and inspect equipment.

The role includes educating customers and handling invoices, with on-the-job education and opportunities for advancement. The position requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and the ability to meet physical demands.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work involves physical demands and safety precautions; may require lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Educate customers regarding products and services and answer questions.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring and facilitate propane fill and forklift operation (certifications offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
